Qualified candidate will have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement system engineering, software engineering, system integration using WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) /IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Message Flows to interface with services producers and consumers, and callout components (e.g., using Java), various nodes for Apache Kafka, WebSphere MQ, Web Services, File, DB Connectivity that meet the business requirements of the organization.
• Collaborate with engineers, development teams on requirements for analysis of the requirement, designing the integration solution, coding, testing and review of the integration applications.
• Establish design mockups into the functional and accessible production-ready code, Developing Message flows without Message set which used custom XSD/XSLT transformations to transform into XML and Fixed Length Message (TDS).
• Build and Optimize message flows which performs XML/XSLT transformations, CWF-TDS transformations and conversions from one format to another, SOAP/HTTP XML to IMS (MRM) mappings and transformations.
• Provide XML messages with exceptions and perform Message transformations, translation, and validation for incoming messages, XML File lookups, database inserts, https posts and java calls to backend systems.
• Perform gap analysis and creation of detailed designs and Plans including analyzing requirements, developing designs, implementing and testing Integration applications.
• Evaluate Unit/Integration/Performance Testing of Message Flows with various Testing tools such as SOAPUI, RFH UTIL to allow the system to be robust and high throughput which is need of the business having huge application user base.
• Implement Agile best practices and processes using Scrum. Attending all scrum planning meetings including daily scrum calls to provide status and discuss requirements, current issues, risks, and future enhancements, sprint planning meeting, retrospectives, sprint review meetings.
• Define and analyze objectives, scope, issues, or organizational impact of information systems and report Status to all business stakeholders and coordinate with new team members on the integration technology and supervising the technical work in the project.
• Configure & setup serves, software utilities and services such as databases using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) data messaging channels and manage the process to integrate the complex part of the development project to meet functional specifications.
• Provide documentation for the systems team to install the custom designed base images and application bundles on lab machines.
• Investigate system component suitability of the developed system application to verify business/functional requirements during implementation and provide architect solution to integrate third party components to the application.
• Verify stability and scalability of system architecture. Administer, operate, and maintain threat environment including configuration, tuning, and maintenance of threat components, vulnerability, and application control.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• IBM Integration Bus Engineer w/ experience consuming a flat file to IIB, transforming data, and posting to a Kafka topic
• 2-4 years of experience and working knowledge in integration technologies such as IBM MQ, IBM IIB, Confluent, Kafka, Striim, and more.
• Strong understanding and or experience with Microsoft Azure, SFTP, DataPower, DataStage, MIM, Axway CFT, REST API & Service Now
• Experience in a highly complex and dynamic environment as an Integration Engineer responsible for design, implementation, installation, configuration, and 3rd level support of Integration products
• Scripting in Shell, Perl, AWK or Python is required. SQL experience a plus.
• Knowledge of different operating systems such as Windows and Linux required.
• Knowledge of Network protocols a plus.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
