QA Analyst
Qualified candidate will have the following roles and responsibilities:
(1) Test multi‐tier web applications (end‐to‐end) using a working knowledge of several related technologies (HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, SSL, REST, Web Browsers, Flash, JEE, Web Servers, Application Servers)
(2) Data Verification ‐ verify accuracy of user data that flows through different backend technologies (e.g. data warehouse, data mart, S3) in support of both real‐time and non‐real‐time reporting. Apply various tools and techniques to work with large volumes of data. Describe the differences between unions, joins, and pivots.
(3) Execute the test plans and apply the i‐Ready product knowledge to uncover all the software defects.
(4) Perform Functional, Systems Integration, Regression and Automation testing at various phases of.
(5) the development and test cycles using different internal environments (dev, staging and production).
(6) Collaborate with developers, business owners, UI designers, customer service, and other testers.
(7) Analyze a story and identify ambiguities, gaps, and risks the team has not considered yet.
(8) Agile software development – you would understand the common methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Crystal, Lean) and can articulate how a strong tester can best support their team in that context.
(9) Test automation – you have an interest in test automation to a level where you can discuss the pros and cons of various automation approaches. To support this, you also have working knowledge of a modern programming language.
(10) Web applications – work on key challenges related to building a multi‐tenant high‐volume data web application responsible for sensitive student data supporting both desktop and mobile devices and can articulate your experience in this data context.
(11) Consultant would make sense of large volumes of data to identify patterns which might be indicative of problems.
(12) Write SQL queries to verify data correctness and are knowledgeable of other tools and techniques to help with data intensive testing.
(13) Administer, test and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of databases management systems using MYSQL, Oracle or MS SQL Server.
(14) Verify the user performance data in Json file and modifying the state verifying positive and negative flows of data events using Data capture testing.
(15) Consultant should have critical thinking, curiosity, creative thinking, and analytical thinking and interested in metacognition and how it applies to software testing.
(16) Optimization: develop performance tuning, methodologies of customized software for the business use with operational efficiency.
(17) Responsible for managing technical deliverables and meeting project.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
(1) You are great at modeling, questioning, generating, explaining, and elaborating on test ideas.
(2) You can write SQL to verify data correctness, and are knowledgeable of other tools and techniques to help with data intensive testing.
(3) You can search through logs or crash reports to help isolate and identify the root cause of issues, and are comfortable doing this from the command line.
(4) You can make sense of large volumes of data to identify patterns which might be indicative of problems.
(5) You are able to describe defects in sufficient detail for a developer to understand and reproduce, and for business owners to understand user impact.
(6) You know when automated testing is better than manual testing.
(7) You know when manual testing is better than automated testing.
(8) You have experience with distributed version control systems.
(9) You are passionate about great software.
(10) You have strong user empathy and sense of UI aesthetic.
(11) Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
